重庆都市报发展的问题及对策研究

本文将重庆都市报与广州的《南方都市报》进行对比,从媒介产品的核心部分即新闻报道入手,研究重庆都市报在发展过程中同《南方都市报》存在的差距,由差距找出重庆都市报发展过程中存在的问题,进而剖析问题的原因,并提出相适应的对策。本文的研究不仅印证了媒介生态学原理,而且将都市报的改进转变为促进重庆社会经济发展的动力,在实践上也具有较强的开拓性和针对性。 本文以《重庆晨报》、 《重庆晚报》、 《重庆商报》和《重庆时报》为研究对象,并选择广州的《南方都市报》作为重庆都市报的对比参照对象。采用系统抽样与内容分析方法,从重庆四家都市报及广州《南方都市报》中抽取2009年2月13日到2月19日这一周的报纸为分析样本,对五家报纸的总版面数、时政新闻版面、广告版面、时政新闻条数、延伸版面等分别进行量化统计;并对重庆都市报及《南方都市报》在地方两会期间的政策解读新闻进行量化统计和内容分析,以此作为提出观点和分析问题的依据。 本文经研究发现重庆都市报存在的问题有:1.信息量不足,难以充当市民的“信息超市”;2.评论及深度报道等体裁运用薄弱,难以成为品牌报纸。言论是报纸的灵魂,也是都市报树立品牌的重要因素。从数据统计发现,重庆都市报的评论极少,而且影响力不大,精品效应差,成为制约都市报树立品牌的因素;3.政策解读报道数量少、质量不高,难以为和谐社会做贡献。都市报的政策解读是体现其受众意识和社会责任的重要参考,能从内容上做到“三贴近”的政策解读可以惠及市民,成为政府与市民的桥梁和纽带;4.专版策划不足,难以提升核心竞争力。专版策划是将零散的新闻材料整合成为报道整体的手法,它是新闻报道策划中最具有创新可能性的报道,体现着编辑指挥采访以及整合新闻资源的能力,是都市报核心竞争力的重要组成部分。 本文建议提高重庆都市报的发展水平、解决发展中的问题应该从以下方面做起:1.学习和借鉴优秀都市报的长处和经验,进行创造性地模仿;2.提高新闻资源开发能力,筛选出适合于目标读者的新闻信息进行传播;3.重视对新闻资源的深度开发,做好新闻资源的优化配置和整合。在信息传播渠道与日俱增的今天,以开发配置新闻资源为要旨1的新闻报道策划越来越重要;4.与时俱进,不断改革创新。首先是意识观念的创新,树立品牌意识、新闻精品意识、受众意识,提升都市报的品位和影响力;其次是体制创新,改革僵硬的不合适宜的制度,建立科学现代管理制度,增强市场竞争力;再次是产品创新,在报道内容和形式两方面进行改革,内容上注重影响和引导受众,形式上注重吸引受众,融合网络等新媒体传播方式。5.注重人才引进和培养。人才素质是都市报发展的关键因素。建立完善的科学的用人制度,最大程度地激发从业者的潜力;积极培养和引进优秀人才等。 最后,本文针对重庆都市报发展情况,提出重庆都市报发展的宏观方向,即实行差异化竞争、走社区报发展道路、与新媒体互相融合以及靠树立社会责任成就都市报品牌。实行差异化竞争,是都市报发展的必然选择。重庆都市报可以将重心从主城区转移到“大重庆”,扩大覆盖范围和影响;还可以从市民群体中细分目标受众,进行差异化定位策略。社区报发展也是符合重庆地理及社会经济发展特点的方向之一,重庆山城的地理特点使社区之间具有极强的个性文化和需求,以社区为目标办报发行,可以先做强再做大;都市报纸的最终目标就是树立自己的品牌,品牌意味着优秀与强大,意味着贡献与责任;树立都市报品牌,有助于提升重庆软实力、增强重庆社会凝聚力、推动重庆经济发展和市民生活水平的提高。

  • The development of the media will be subject to the socio-economic development. The situation of development in China is that the western regions has a big distance from the eastern regions which lead to the distance in news media, such as the economic power, human resources, and management level. The core product of news - -- report can tell the difference very directly. In this paper, we will take the metropolitan papers in Chongqing and Guangzhou as examples to show the differences. Firstly, we research the differences on reports; from the differences we will find the problems of Chongqing Metropolitan papers; finally we raise the countermeasure to the development of Chongqing Metropolitan papers. This study does not only give the confirms examples for the Principles of media and economic-politics but also add energy to the development of metropolitan papers in Chongqing which can change into the power for society. Of course the study provides the ideas for the news-report of Metropolitan papers in Chongqing. In this paper, we will take" Chongqing Morning News"" Chongqing Evening News"" Chongqing Commercial News" and" Chongqing Times" as the research objects, and select" Southern urban news" as contrast to Chongqing Metropolitan papers. The systematic sampling and content analysis will be the methods in the study. We take the papers during the period of Feb,13th to 19th in 2009 as the samples which used in the research of news pages, advertising pages, current politic news pages and extend pages. Also we take the politic unscramble news as the object to do the contrast research between the Chongqing Metropolitan papers and Southern Metropolitan News which is the base of the analysis of problems and countermeasure. Based on the research we have found the problems of Chongqing metropolitan news showed on following aspects:1. The amount of information is too insufficient to serve as " information supermarket" for the public. The amount of information of newspapers is significantly restricted to the capacity of the news pages. We found the pages and the current news pages of Chongqing metropolitan are just the half of Southern Metropolitan News. It shows that the amount of information of Chongqing Metropolitan papers is much smaller than than that of Southern Metropolitan paper. 12. It is hard to produce the famous brand of Chongqing Metropolitan papers for the weak news remark and reviews. Remarks and reviewes are the soul of a newspaper which are asloimportant factor of making the brand of papers. From the datas we found the comments were very few in Chongqing Metropolitan papers. 3. The poor policy interpretation is difficult to make contributions to a harmonious society. The policy interpretation for audience can directly show the awareness and socialresponsibility of papers. From the caculations and the analysis of the policy interpretation of the period of"two sessions party" in Chongqing and Guangzhou we found that the quality ofpolicy interpretation of Chongqing metropolitan papers is very poor, such as the smallamout, the freeze format and the superficial points. 4. It is so hard to enhance core competitiveness if the poor plan of pages still exist. The plan of the special editions can make the scattered reports into a integrated report of a theme which product has the possibility of innovation also shows the ablity of integrating information of the editors. The plan of the special editions can boost up the core competition, in actual fact, it is an important component of the core competition. From the statistical analysis of samples, we can find that the quantity of Chongqing metropolitan newsplanning of the edition is less than a quarter of Southern metropolitan news. From the analysis of the context of the edition we can find the quality is also inferior to that of Southern metropolitan news, which overlooked the valuable report all the time, of course the situationwill affect to enhance the core competitiveness. In order to raise the level of development of Chongqing metropolitan news, this articleproposes the ideas as follows:1. To learn the strengths and the experience of outstanding news papers. After the learning Chongqing metropolitan news must make out a creative way toimitate to adapt its own envrionment and the feature of its audience. 2. Enhance the ability to develop information resources, disseminate the news andinformation which are suitable to its audience. Chongqing has a unique geographicallocationm and the historical, whose cultural and natural material resources are very rich onsome extent which can provide rich news resource for reporting. If you take the rapid development of the young city directly under the jurisdiction of centrual government intoconsideration, you will find the outstanding achivement also can be treat as the rich resource of news report. Pay attention to the discovery and identification to the news resource, try best to convert the news resource to the news report. 23. Make hard work on the development of information resources deeply, optimize the allocation of news resources and integrate the news resource into one report. With the development of news media, the plan of edition which mainly based on the development and optimizing the news resource is more and more important in the report today. The development of news resource is the job of developing of the background and prospect of news. 4. With the time flying, make sure the reforms and innovations do work on time. Innovations is very important which include the awareness of report, brand quality and audience. Change the taste of urban papers and enhance the sense of crisis. The innovation of the systems is also very important, such as the innovation of the rigid system, employment mechanism and strategic operations. The aim of reform and innovation is the establishment of modern scientific management system and strengthening market competitiveness. Finally, innovation of the report product is on the list. It includes the content and form innovation. Pay attention to the function of the content which can impact and guide the audience in order to enhance the power of integration of the report. Pay attention to the form which can attract the audience a lot if it shows in an attract way. Integration the network and other new media forms of communication with the news report is such a considerate way. 5. Pay attention to the introduction of talent person and training internal staff. The quality of talent person is the key factors in the development of metropolitan papers. Set up a sound scientific personnel system, which can stimulate potential most of the practitioners. Cultivate and attract the talent staff in a positive way. After all the researches of the situation and problems of Chongqing metropolitan news, the article makes the strategic directions for metropolitan papers. It includes differences in the implementation of competition, community papers, integration with the new media and setting the brand by social responsibility. Differences in the implementation of competition arean inevitable choice for metropolitan news. As for Chongqing metropolitan news, the difference in competition includes differences in the strategic development and position. Chongqing metropolitan report should avert its focus from main urban areas to"big Chongqing" means the outskirt areas around the downtown. Chose the target audience from thesegmentation market to make sure the implementation of difference-competition ofpositioning strategies. Chongqing is a mountain city which makes every different community has its own needs and thirsties. So the strategy of community papers is a proper way in line 3with the geographical and socio-economic development of Chongqi ng which treat the community as the target in order to make itself from stronger to stronger. Establishing the brand is the eventual goal of metropolitan newspaper which means excellence and stronger, also means contributions and responsibilities. The brand of Chongqing metropolitannewspaper will promote the economic development and improve the life of the public of Chongqing which will also enhance the soft power and social cohesion of Chongqing.
