宋代前期,式沿用唐式的内容和形式。神宗元丰以后,宋式在性质、编纂体例、修订模式上都发生了重大变化,特别是在性质上,由令的细则性规定变成为法定公文程式。宋式的变化,是宋代对编敕、格等法律形式的性质、功能进行调整的结果。宋式的变化使得宋令的内容更加整齐划一,令、式分工更加明确,两者关系更加协调、合理。

At the earlier stage of the Song Dynasty,the form of law"Shi" followed the form and content of that in the Tang Dynasty.After the time of "Yuan Feng",the compiling style,the revision pattern and especially the nature,of the "Shi" had all changed significantly.It had become the legal style of an official document from the implementing regulation of the form of law "Ling".The"Shi"in the Song Dynasty changed by virtue of the changes of the nature and the legislative function of law and "Ge".The changes of "Shi" made the content of the "Ling"more unified,the range of the "Ling" and the "Shi" clearer,and the relation between the two more consistent and reasonable in.
