公民美德思想的核心在于公民。“公民”一词是“人”在政治学上的概念,因此,研究卢梭公民美德思想需从卢梭对人性的理解为始点,这是卢梭公民美德思想建立的基础。卢梭公民美德思想不是建立在自爱、理性、怜悯的基础之上,而是来自骄傲的情感,自治和爱国是其公民美德的核心。作为科西嘉岛和波兰的“立法者”,卢梭认为可以通过公民宗教、立法者和荣誉三种途径来塑造公民美德。卢梭的思想一方面具有很强的时代性,他看到了人类一步步走向奴役的道路并给出了时代的药方,另一方面过度的强调公共利益也使其背上极权主义始作俑者的骂名。在卢梭的论述中我们可以看到这个一生追求自由的“日内瓦公民”并不是一个个人主义者也不是一个集体主义者,在他看来公民的救赎和国家的救赎是一个硬币的两面。本文除了引言外分为四部分:第一部分,以历史时间为主线,论述了卢梭公民美德思想的渊源,认为卢梭公民美德思想渊源既有来自于斯巴达、古罗马、柏拉图和马基雅维利的古典思想,又有来自同时代百科全书学派家的给养。第二部分,以卢梭的人性哲学为线索,结合其理性、自爱、怜悯、骄傲的观点,论证卢梭公民美德是建立在骄傲情感的基础上,在这里我们看到卢梭公民美德并不是分裂的,他的公民美德与他的整个政治哲学是不可分割的。第三部分,以卢梭自由观为切入点,分析了自治和爱国是卢梭公民美德思想的主要内容,同时也指出卢梭并不是一个空谈的思想家,他在美德沦丧和人性的异化面前提出了通过立法者、公民宗教和荣誉三种途径来塑造公民美德。第四部分,在上述论述的基础上,总结了卢梭公民美德的思想,认为卢梭的伟大在于他看到了人的异化并提出了通往公民道路的救赎之路,但卢梭公民美德思想有限的个人空间是其公民美德思想最大的缺陷。

  • The core of civic virtue is citizen. The word ‘citizen’ is a political concept of ‘human’. Therefore, the research should start from the Rousseau's knowledge of humanity which is the basic of civic virtue. The Rousseau's thought of civic virtue was not based on self-love、rational、pity, but from the pride of emotion, autonomy and patriotism is the core. As the‘legislator’of Corsica and Polish, Rousseau considered that the civic virtue can be shaped by the civic religion, legislators and honor. On the one hand, Rousseau's thought of civic virtue has a strong times, for one things, he saw human walked step by step toward slavery and gave the way of the prescription of the times, on the other hand, his excessive emphasis on public interests also made him bear the stigma of ?totalitarianism. We can find in his research that this‘Geneva Citizens’who spent his whole life chasing freedom, is neither an individualist nor a collectivist. In his opinion, the citizen's salvation and redemption of the country are two sides of the same coin. The paper is divided into four parts besides preface and conclusion: The first part, with the history time as the main line, this paper discusses the origin of Rousseau's civic virtue thought, and consider the origin comes not only from Sparta, the ancient Rome, the classical ideas of Plato and Machiavelli, but also from the contemporary encyclopedia school supplies. The second part, with the clue of Rousseau's philosophy of human nature, and combined with his view of rationality, self-love, pity, pride, we are going to discuss Rousseau's civic virtue is established on the basis of the proud. We ?can see the Rousseau's civic virtue is not divided, and is inseparable with his entire political philosophy. The third part, use Rousseau's freedom conception as an entry point, we analyze the autonomy and patriotism are the main content of Rousseau's civic virtue ideology, but also point out he is not a talk thinker. Facing the ?decay of virtue and alienation of humanity ,he put forward that we could shape civic virtue by legislators, civil religion, and honor three ways. The fourth part, based on the above discussion, we summarized the thought of Rousseau's civic virtue, says the Rousseau's great is that he saw the man's alienation and put forward the path to citizens of redemption, but Rousseau's civic virtue thought limited by his personal space is one of the largest defect.
