Starting from the analysis of the current situation of posts and telecommunications in China, the paper elaborates, from the perspective of law, on the challenges faced by our country after its entry to WTO. It argues that in accordance with the corresponding rules related to posts and telecommunications as stipulated by GATS and in light of the realistic situation in our country, we must set up a legal system of posts and telecommunications with Chinese characteristics.
