本文在厘定西方自由观的基础上,对先秦儒学思想中所蕴含的政治自由维度从两方面进行了梳理,无论是在政治运作模式的构想上,还是在对个体具有自由选择能力的肯定上,先秦儒学都为政治自由思想的生成和发挥提供了可能。这一分析使我们对政治儒家和学术儒家予以适度的分离,以利于对传统思想的客观认知与合理借鉴。

On the basis of collating the Western conception of freedom,this essay cards the political freedom ideas contained in the Confucianism of Pre-Qin Dynasty from two aspects,that is,either in constructing the political opera- tion mode or in affirming the individual's ability of freedom choice,the Confucianism of Pre-Qin Dynasty made it possi- ble for the political freedom ideas to emerge and develop.Through this analysis,we appropriately differentiate the politi- cal Confucians from the learned Confucians in order that the traditional thought can be objectively understood and reason- ably used for reference.
