摘要：

《盘村瑶族》尽管是《花蓝瑶社会组织》的后续研究,却是一部"史志合璧"之作,堪称建构费孝通"历史功能论"理论大厦的一块厚重奠基石。从民族志撰写与历史文献利用的角度来看,我们对《盘村瑶族》等前辈民族学家的作品,既不能完全依据英美标准"马凌诺斯基式民族志"的尺度来衡量,也不应忽略历史情境、在"主体性"方面予以过度诠释。新中国成立之后到学科重建之前的中国民族研究,对世界人类学做出了自己的独特贡献。

  • The Yao People in Pan Village is a further study of The Social Organization in Hualanyao Society,but it is an ethnography which concerns with history and historical documents; It can be considered as a solid cornerstone of the building of "historical functional theory". From the perspective of ethnographic writing and historical documents' utilization,we can neither measure ethnographic works by senior ethnologists such as The Yao People in Pan Village completely according to Anglo-American "Malinowski ethnography",nor can we over-interpret them on "subjectivity" despite of the specific historical situation. The ethnic researches in China between 1949 and 1978 make unique contributions to world anthropology.
