The relationship between translation theory,translation outlook and translation practice is analyzed.The feasibility of constructing the translator's translation outlook with translation theories in undergraduate translation instruction is illustrated by taking several traditional translation theories as examples.Five teaching principles,namely,following a certain order,sticking to the practice,having different focuses,ete.,are proposed to guide the application of theories to the construction of translation outlooks.
